We build power and control panels of every size, for every industry, in our own workshop in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Order a panel on its own, built to your drawings or designed by us, or as part of a complete automation system, with one point of contact from quote to delivery.
Many of our customers come to us purely for panels. Others order them as part of a larger project. Either way, every panel is built and tested by our own team.
PLC and HMI panels, drive panels and safety circuits for machines, production lines, robot cells and conveyor systems, built for clean layout and easy maintenance.
Power distribution and motor control panels sized to your load, from compact sub-distribution boards to large multi-section assemblies.
Panels built to whatever ingress protection your site demands, including IP67, for washdown, dusty or outdoor locations.
Experience building panels to UL 508A for North American installations, with each panel verified by an independent third-party inspector.
New panels to replace ageing or obsolete control gear, often as part of a PLC upgrade or migration.
The panels for our own robot cells, conveyor systems and turnkey projects, built in the same workshop.
Send us your schematics and layouts and we will build to them exactly. We review the pack before ordering components, so any questions are raised at the start rather than on the workshop floor.
If you don't have drawings yet, our electrical design team will produce the full package (schematics, panel layout and cable schedules) for your approval before the build begins.
New to panel projects? Our guide Control Panel Build for UK Manufacturers: What to Expect explains the process, typical costs and what to tell your supplier.
You deal with one team throughout, and you are kept updated on progress at every step.
Every build follows our manufacturing checklists, so layout, wiring, labelling and terminations are done the same way, to the same standard, on every panel.
Each panel is thoroughly tested in our workshop before dispatch, so faults are found and fixed on the bench, not on your site.
We keep you informed from component orders through to final test. You are also welcome to visit the workshop during the build to see progress for yourself.
We arrange delivery to your site, and our electrical installation team can mount, wire and commission the panel too.
Every panel is built in-house in the Jewellery Quarter, not subcontracted, so quality and programme stay under our control.
The volume of panels we produce keeps our build costs competitive, whether you need one panel or a full set for a new line.
We have built panels for Jaguar Land Rover among many others, across automotive, FMCG, logistics and life sciences.
Our panels are built by a team that also designs, programs and commissions systems, so they are laid out for the engineers who will work on them.
For a major UK automotive manufacturer, we are replacing every legacy Modicon control and power panel across more than 200 metres of production conveyor. All of the new panels are designed and manufactured by our team, then factory acceptance tested in our workshop before they go anywhere near the line.
Getting that verification done off-site is central to how the programme has run with no unplanned downtime so far.
Read the Case StudyYes. Many customers come to us purely for panel build. Send us your schematics and layouts and we will quote, build to them exactly, and raise any queries before we start rather than after.
Yes. Our electrical design team can take your requirements and produce the full design package, including schematics, panel layout and cable schedules, for your approval before the build starts.
Yes, we have experience building panels to UL 508A for export. We are not yet a UL-listed workshop, so an independent third party inspects and verifies each UL panel for us. We will always be upfront about that when you ask for a quote.
Anything from a small single-door control box to large multi-section power and control panels, built to whatever specification the application needs, including high ingress protection ratings such as IP67.
It depends on size, complexity and component lead times. As a broad guide, a simple panel can be built and tested in one to two weeks, mid-complexity panels with drives and safety circuits in three to four weeks, and large or bespoke panels in five to six weeks. We will give you a firm programme with your quote.
Of course. You are welcome to visit our Birmingham workshop to see your panel being built. Either way, we keep you updated on progress at every stage, and we can arrange delivery to your site.
Send us your drawings or tell us what the panel needs to do, and we will come back with a competitive quote and a clear programme.
