Proven, repeatable cell designs for the jobs manufacturers ask us for most, designed, built and commissioned by Duke. Because the core design is established, you get a clear scope and a straightforward quotation, adapted to your parts and your layout.
Most machine tending and palletising jobs share the same core layout, so it makes little sense to design each one from a blank sheet. We start from a design we already know works and tailor it to your product.
The most common requirements, each available as a complete cell.
A robot that loads and unloads your CNC machine, press or other process, keeping it running through breaks and unattended periods. Includes the robot, gripper design, part presentation, guarding, safety system and integration with the machine's controls. More on CNC machine tending →
A compact palletising cell for end-of-line packing, with the robot, tooling, infeed conveyor, pallet handling, guarding and safety system. Pallet patterns and product changeovers are set up for your range. More on palletising →
You are not left to arrange the pieces yourself. Each cell includes:
Frame, guarding, robot mounting, fixtures and part handling, designed and built by Duke for your parts and floor space.
A robot selected to suit the payload, reach and cycle time, with a gripper designed for your product.
PLC control, robot programs and operator interface (HMI), integrated with your machine or line.
Risk assessment, safety system and validation so the cell is ready to put into service.
Factory acceptance testing, on-site installation and commissioning, so it is running on your line.
Operator training, full documentation and support after handover.
A few details are usually enough for a first conversation and a sensible budget figure. Send us as much of the following as you have.
Useful to have to hand: the parts or products being handled (size, weight and material), the machine or line it will connect to, the cycle time you are aiming for, the floor space available, and any site requirements such as cleanroom conditions or hygiene rules. If you are not sure about any of it, that is fine, as we can work it out with you on a call or a site visit.
The same engineers design, build, programme and commission the cell, so you have a single point of contact throughout.
We start from designs we have delivered before and adapt them to your parts, machine and floor space.
Robot and PLC programming is where Duke started, so the cell integrates properly with your machine or line.
ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa and more. We recommend the robot that fits your application and your support arrangements.
If your needs outgrow a standard cell, we can scale up to a fully bespoke system without changing supplier.
A defined inclusions list means you know what you are getting before you commit.
Tell us about your machine tending or palletising requirement and we will come back with a clear scope and quotation.
